Ammunition knowledge and the fundamentals of shotgun shooting
· Shot-shell Components and their Function
· Identify Proper Ammunition for a Shotgun and It’s Intended Use
· Identify and Demonstrate the Five Fundamentals of Shotgun Shooting
LESSON THREE (2 hrs)
Venue- Range
Firing the first shots
· Demonstration the Knowledge Skill and Attitude Necessary to Safely Shoot a Shotgun
· Shoot a Moving Targets Using the Five Fundamentals
· Identify the Materials needed to Clean a Shotgun
· Demonstration of How to Clean a Shotgun· Clean Shotgun Safely
LESSON FOUR (2 hrs)
Venue - Range
Shotgun and shooting skills practical excercise
· Demonstrate Knowledge of the NRA Basic Shotgun Qualification Program
· Demonstrate Progress in Basic Shotgun Shooting Skills, and begin Earning ‘Pro Marksmanship’ Qualification Award

Shotgun games and activities
· Identify Several Way to Pursue Shotgun Shooting Activities
· Identify Shotgun Selection Criteria
· Identify Various Shotgun Shooting Organizations and How to become Involved In Them
· Complete Course Examination
