Training Consultant & Instructor (CT)About the CompanyDynamic Firearms Training is a premiere firearms training academy in NY looking to expand into other markets with the help of knowledgeable NRA Certified Instructors. Although our main business is in the training of NRA Courses our school has begun to offer a wide array of courses including NRA Courses, self-defense courses, first aid, pepper spray, crime preventions, civilians training on a firearms training simulator and special events. We are looking for instructors willing to be part of a large network of instructors backed by an aggressive branded marketing campaign. Our motto is simple, “The Difference in Training is Dynamic”. About the Job Dynamic Firearms Training seeks a qualified and experienced Trainer to: Develop, deliver, and evaluate training programs in line with the National Rifle Assocation guidelines for the courses conducted Conduct training assessments, develop courses, and evaluate results/impact on performance and behavior. Coordinate leadership development and soft skills training programs to ensure learning objectives are achieved. Facilitate classroom training, and develop course material and on subject matter Monitor and evaluate classes conducted by outside instructors Prepare and present various reports to management, identify areas for development and improvement Represent the company at various functions and meetings Perform special projects and assignments as directed by management REQUIREMENTS Associates or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent preferred 5 years training or workforce development experience required; to include experience coordinating and managing various firearms/self-defense training programs Excellent instructional design, presentation and facilitation skills National Rifle Association Instructor Credentials are Mandatory Utah CCW Instructor Credentials Mandatory Knowledge of adult learning theories required; experience in the firearms industry a plus Must have the ability to plan, coordinate, and direct programs Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook Must have strong, written, organizational and practical strategic planning skills Some travel as necessary to other locations outside of NY,CT & FL Traveling would mostly be on weekends Position is a 1099 consulting position allowing instructors the flexibility to enjoy life while earning an extra income Administrative ConsultantAbout the CompanyDynamic Firearms Training is a premiere firearms training academy in NY looking to expand into other markets with the help of knowledgeable NRA Certified Instructors. About the Job Dynamic Firearms Training seeks a qualified and experienced Administrative Assistant to: Develop, deliver, and evaluate Administrative Programs utilizing Microsoft, Excel, Access, Word, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Respond to inquiries regarding Information via mail. Email and phone Facilitate classroom training, by taking payments handling registration and training notices.
